Retirement Security Limited approached Boomerang to design and build a website which their prospective purchasers could use to search and enquire about available retirement properties quickly and easily, which they could also manage themselves, updating new properties as they became available and deleting those which had been sold for all of their 27 courts throughout the UK. The site needed to be fully accessible and easy to navigate for all of the users, specifically taking into account the elderly age of many of the users.
From planning, design and to final development our primary task was to be fully aware of the needs of the users of this site, and this meant keeping colours and imagery sharp and with high contrast, and to give the user the ability to increase text sizes to make viewing much easier. The site is easily navigated, the user is able to access any part of the website from the top navigation bar, and it is clear to the user which section they need to go and visit in order to gain the information they are looking for.
The result is a well designed, accessible site that provide a concise and simple search facility with interactive Google mapping, where all the information the user needed about each property or court was easily obtainable at the touch of a button.
